Privacy Policy

Effective May 7, 2026

Image Comparison Tool is a browser-local comparison page. This policy explains what the current build does with selected images and how analytics measurement is scoped.

Image files

When you choose two images, the current tool reads those files with browser APIs for preview and comparison. Image files are handled in the browser; image files, object URLs, and pixel data are not intentionally sent to our servers by this tool.

Local previews and object URLs

The page may create local object URLs so your browser can display selected files. Those object URLs are local browser references for the active page session, not public share links or server-hosted image URLs.

Pixel diff metrics

Highlight Diff calculates comparison metrics in the browser after you run the comparison. The current tool does not put image data, object URLs, filenames, base64 image data, or pixel diff results into URLs, account records, share links, localStorage, or sessionStorage.

Google Analytics and future advertising measurement

Google Analytics is installed for page and traffic measurement. The base page measurement must not receive image files, object URLs, filenames, base64 image data, or pixel diff results from the image comparison tool. Google Ads may be added later for future advertising measurement, with the same boundary around image data.

Logs and diagnostics

Hosting and browser diagnostics may record ordinary technical details such as page requests, device or browser information, timestamps, and error signals. The current image comparison workflow is not designed to send selected image files or pixel data as part of those logs.

Current product scope

The current public build does not include server upload routes, account flows, or share URLs for selected images. If that scope changes later, the privacy copy and product behavior should be reviewed before release.
